Yerin is walking (예린이가 걸어요)

Yerin has finally started walking.
She stood on her own at the end of August...and started walking 20 days later ^^;

Kids grow up so fast.
A week ago she stood up by herself, and she looked so cute barely taking one step.
I was thinking "Ah! This weekend I have to record this..",

but by the time the weekend came, she was already walking around... >_<

Now she's walking pretty well.
She's excited to walk, but it's getting harder to see her. ㅠㅠ
Just grow up healthy, okay~

In Korea, usually girls start walking before 1 year old, and boys a little later..
I wonder if it's the same for foreign babies.

예린이가 드디어 걷기 시작했어요.
혼자서 일어 서려고 한게 8월 말.. 20일정도 지나니까 걷네요 ^^;

아이들은 정말 빨리 자라는 것 같아요.
일주일 전에는 예린이가  혼자 일어서서 간신히 걷는 모습이, 너무 귀여워서..
"아! 주말에 이 모습을 찍어야지.." 라고 생각했는데,
막상 주말되니, 성큼성큼 걸어 가버리네요... >_<

지금은 제법 능숙하게 걸어 다녀요..
걸어다녀서 기쁘기는 한데, 예린이 돌보는 건 더욱 힘들어 졌습니다. ㅠㅠ
건강하게만 자라다오~

한국에서 여자아이는 보통 돌전에 걷기 시작하고, 남자아이는 조금 늦는데..
외국 아이들도 똑같은지 궁금하네요.

HomeShank Redemption (빠삐용~ 예린)

We have a protective fence installed in our home.
It's next to the kitchen so Yerin can't enter the dangerous areas.

But a little while ago, Yerin got on the other side of the fence without me or her mom seeing.
We didn't know how she got over there, but she was playing there calmly.

After watching her for a little bit, we finally understand how she did it.
Now we lowered the fence a little so she can't go past it anymore.
But we're worried she will figure out another way to get through.
We're keeping an eye out for other ways. ^^

PS
After lowering the fence, she tried to get under it again and made a really funny face.
Come to think of it, why didn't I think to record that scene? ^^;

예린이 집에는 보호용 울타리가 설치되어 있습니다.
위험한 부엌과 현관으로 건너가지 못하게 거실과 부엌사이에 있지요.

그런데, 얼마전 저하고 예린이 엄마가 보지 못한 사이에
예린이가 울타리를 넘어서 건너편에 있는 것이었습니다.
어떻게 넘어 갔는지 알 수는 없지만, 태연하게 그곳에서 놀고 있더군요.

약간 시간이 지난 후 몰래 지켜보던 중, 마침내 그 방법을 알아 냈습니다.
지금은 울타리를 약간, 낮춰서, 더이상 넘어가지는 못합니다.
하지만, 예린이가 어떤 방법으로 또 넘어갈지 불안합니다.
새로운 방법을 찾아봐야 겠어요.^^

PS
울타리를 낮춘 후에 예린이가 평상시 넘어가듯이
밑으로 얼굴을 들이 밀던 모습이 어찌나 웃기던지..
생각해보니 왜 그 장면을 찍을 생각을 못했을까요? ^^;

Kung Fu Yerin (태권 예린)

It seems Yerin has a talent for the arts and physical education.
She dances whenever there's music, even though no one taught her..
Right now she's even imitating Taekwondo moves ^^;
Will she become a singer or an actress? Or maybe an athlete?

But then again, she really likes to look at books~
It might be because she enjoys looking at all the colorful pictures..
Maybe she'll be a teacher or scholar?

What will Yerin be when she grows up?
She could be an ordinary housewife too, right? ^^;
The thought of watching her grow is exciting.
No matter what Yerin decides to do, we will work hard to help.~

예린이는 예체능에 소질이 있나봐요..
누가 가르쳐 준 적도 없는데, 음악만 나오면 춤을 추고..
지금처럼 태권도같은 동작도 따라하구요 ^^;
가수나 배우? 아니면 운동선수가 되려나요?

그런데, 또 책보는 것도 엄청 좋아해요~
책에 있는 알록달록한 그림 보는게 재미있어서 그런 거 같기도 한데..
선생님이나 학자가 되려나요?

예린이는 커서 무엇이 될까요? 평범한 주부가 될 수도 있겠죠? ^^;
앞으로 자라는 모습을 지켜볼 생각을 하니 흥분 되네요..
예린이가 무엇을 하든지, 열심히 도와주렵니다.~

Yerin Laughing at Something (무언가에 웃는 예린이)

What could Yerin be laughing at?

The sound of mother's drum immitation, the sound of tape, or the sound of an applause...
Currently, watching Yerin's mother throw balls into the ball tent brings
Yerin to hystarical laughter..^^;;
However, I did see the way she was throwing the balls
and I have to admit it was quite funny~ lol
I hope Yerin will continue to grow with a bright appearance.

예린이가 무엇에 웃고 있는 걸까요?

엄마의 북소리, 테잎 소리, 박수 소리..
최근에는 예린이 엄마가 볼텐트에 공을 던지는 모습을 보더니
자지러지게 웃네요.. ^^;;
그런데요, 그 던지는 모습을 제가 봤는데..
제가 봐도 웃겨요~ ㅋㅋㅋ
항상 밝은 모습으로 자랐으면 좋겠습니다. ^^;
